Perth’s Coolest Summer Attraction: Bayswater Waves

Both our buyer’s agents and property management team love the Perth suburb of Bayswater. One of the biggest reasons is Bayswater Waves. While Bayswater Waves sounds more like a tourist attraction, it’s actually a state of the art indoor family park.

Property Management Team Loves Bayswater Waves Park

Why We Like Bayswater Waves Park

Bayswater Waves combines a world class recreational facility with a world class swim school. It is home to the only wave pool in Western Australia. The pool is approximately 40m x 25m and the waves can be adjusted to 5 different combinations of height and power. There is a small boat slide, lazy river, twisting slide and toddler pool. In addition, there is also beach entry.

Bayswater Waves also has two lap pools, including a 25m indoor pool, which is heated to 30 degrees and a 50m outdoor pool, heated to 26 degrees. There is also a pool specifically for diving, water polo and hydrotherapy. After swimming, you can relax in the sauna, spa and steam room.

The swim school has lessons for all ages—from babies to adults—and there are both junior and adult swim clubs. In addition, there are more than 60 fitness classes for groups every week. There are also personal trainers, exercise specialists, fitness programmes and appraisals, a creche, a function room and a fully-equipped, double-storey gymnasium.

Bayswater Waves also ensures access for all with aquatic wheelchairs, ramp access into the building and throughout, 5 accessible family change rooms with toilets, one accessible change room that has a wheelchair hoist, hoist access for swimming pools and hand rails on the stairs leading to pools.

Why We Like Bayswater for Investment Property

We like areas that show opportunity for capital growth. We also like areas with good rental returns. When we see both in the same community, we feel it is our duty to inform our customers and prospects.

Population has grown from 43,810 in 1991 to 61,262 in the 2011 census. The median house price has more than doubled in 10 years, from $240,000 in 2003 to a current $573,000. Rents are currently $480 per week.

We like the potential for capital gains and we like Bayswater’s 9km proximity to Perth. Call 1300 472 427 to learn more.
