It is mainly flat and residents will enjoy views of the city from their location. Much of the developments are concentrated along Weston and Archer Streets, as well as Albany Highway.
Carlisle is surrounded by the Roberts Road, Rutland Avenue, Armadale Rail Line, Briggs Planet Kew Streets, and Orrong Road.
Over the past century the area and surrounding suburbs experienced several changes, with most of the developments concentrated along present-day Albany Highway. The Belmont City Works Dpot, Town of Victoria Park Council Depot, Harold Hawthorne Seniors Center, and two nursing homes complete the city’s range of amenities.
