Kardinya is a busy and attractive residential suburb set within the City of Melville. It is home to less than 10,000 residents and lies seven miles from Perth’s central business district. The suburb is ideal for families, professionals and students who wish to attend Murdoch College and Murdoch University. It was once a farmland and home to the Welby Vineyard before it become a residential community considered as one of the tightly-held suburbs in Perth. It was also originally a section of the University of Western Australia and Forest Departments pine reservation.
Kardinya is located 7 miles from the central business district of Perth and is part of the city of Melville. It is a short 5-minute drive from Fremantle and is surrounded by Murdoch, Samson, Winthrop, Booragoon, Melville, O’Connor and Myraree.
Kardinya comes with its own shopping center, named Kardinya Park.
