Nollamara is a wonderful suburb in Perth, providing a great place to live in. As of the 2011 census by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the suburb is inhabited by families owning private dwellings. Of its 9,888 residents, a total of 2,524 families were listed with an average of 1.7 kids across the population. Lovely townhouses and detached dwellings can be found across the suburb, catering to families but also home to singles, young workers, and elderly retirees.
Nollamara features a great location in Perth, just 10 km north of the CBD. This location ensures a convenient access to establishments, medical facilities, and various landmarks in the heart of the city for visitors and residents to enjoy. This admirable suburb covers an area of 3.7 km2 and surrounded by other suburbs: Balcatta, Tuart Hill, Westminster, Yokine, Mirrabooka, and Dianella.
A number of great amenities can be enjoyed in Nollamara, including wonderful park facilities. Still, residents and visitors need not worry about amenities considering the close proximity of this suburb to the CBD. As an established suburb, there are plenty of childcare options and schools catering to the needs of families in the area.
For recreation, visitors and residents can simply drive down to Perth CBD to enjoy some retail therapy or indulge in the savory foods offered at the restaurants in the vicinity. A lot astonishing beaches are also within a short drive to the west.
Several bus routes ply along Nollamara, easily connecting the suburb to the rest of Perth and its neighbors. Route 386 (Marangaroo-Perth) and 389 (Wanneroo-Perth) is covering Wanneroo Road south to Perth while 354, 370 and 870 (Mirrabooka-Perth) is covering inner portions of the Nollamara and Flinders Street.
