Having originated as a vast swath of market gardens, Osborne Park has developed into a residential suburb. At present it’s filled with industrial developments, with majority of the residential space concentrated at the north-eastern area. The suburb is governed by the City of Stirling. It’s an ideal suburb for employees, couples, starting families, and retirees.
Osborne Park is located 15 km from the Perth International Airport. Perth’s CBD is just an 8-kilometre drive from the suburb.
Osborne Park is home to many of small businesses and warehouses. Large retailers such as Hungry Jack’s, Action Supermarkets, IGA, Officeworks, and Harvey Norman provide jobs to many residents. Evangelisation and Acts 2 Bible College of Mission can also be found within the suburb. Much of the developments are concentrated around Main Street, which is Osborne Park’s business, shopping, and café strip. Right next to the shopping center are the trusted businesses of Osborne Park Hotel/Pub/Restaurant.
Boating and kayaking activities keep residents active at Lakes Gwelup, Monger, and Karrinyup, all within a 4km drive. Families can enroll their kids at Osborne Park Swimming School, found along Scarborough Beach Road.
Osborne Park is currently served by the Joondalup Line’s Glendalough Train Station. Bus stations can be found at the suburb’s own Osborne Park Shopping Center. Stirling Station is 0.8 km from the suburb. This connects students easily to Osborne Park, St Kieran Catholic, and Chrysalis Montessori Primary Schools. Along Leeway Ct you’ll find the College of Retail Training.
