Yokine is lovely suburb in Perth, offering residents with a quiet place to stay where neighbors are friendly. Early development was very limited except for the expansive golf course that occupied a major portion of the area. Pretty soon, the rest of the suburb was developed so that by the late 1970s, much of Yokine was already completed.

The suburb is quite small, only covering an area of just 4.9 km2 but is home to several developments and a shopping center.
