Villa Sold - YOKINE WA

I have heard it said, “that your outlook on Life is a direct reflection on how much you like yourself”.

If you are the lucky new owner of villa 7 160-162 Flinders Street, Yokine, I am tipping you will be in love with yourself and your new lifestyle, for the foreseeable future!

This villa in Flinders Court is featured packed, the living area dominated by a big and bold Bay window, with warm timber flooring flowing through to the dining area, and a flashy fully renovated kitchen from which you can step out the back, to a surprisingly quiet & private paved and walled courtyard area.

This home also features a large combined bathroom – laundry, which did not get the renovation the owner had once imagined, but the owner did not scrimp on air conditioning with three reverse cycle systems installed, one in each bedroom and one in the lounge room.

Sadly it’s time for the owner of this cosy villa to move closer to a new business. The owner will miss the golden triangle location – close to airport (fifo), close to beaches (scarborough) and close to CBD restaurants (oh yeah).

Yokine is lovely suburb in Perth, offering residents with a quiet place to stay where neighbors are friendly. Early development was very limited except for the expansive golf course that occupied a major portion of the area. Still, the suburb experienced housing boom after World War II, with many properties developed close to the golf course. Pretty soon, the rest of the suburb was developed so that by the late 1970s, much of Yokine was already completed.
Set in the northern portion of Perth, the suburb is close to several outdoor destinations and the beach yet also within minutes from the heart of the city. Perth CBD is just 7 km from Yokine. The suburb is quite small, only covering an area of just 4.9 km2 but is home to several developments and a shopping center.
A great choice for families, retirees, and workers to live in, Yokine also offers a wide range of amenities catering to their needs. Dog Swamp Shopping Centre is the center of commerce being the largest shopping center in the suburb.
A wide range of recreation options are available for everyone to enjoy. A lot of residents and visitors tend to converge at Dog Swamp Shopping Centre because of its retail outlets and fun activities. They can also have fun at the Yokine Bowling Club. Of course, The West Australia Golf Club should not be missed. After all, this is the pioneer establishment in the suburb.
Yokine is served by several bus routes, easily connecting it with Perth CBD and neighboring towns. These include 389 (Wanneroo-Perth), 387 and 388 (Warwick-Perth), and 374 and 386 (Marangaroo-Perth) covering Wanneroo Road plus 354, 370 and 870 (limited stop) (Mirrabooka-Perth) covering Flinders Street. All these are operated by Transperth buses.
