Fast Facts about Doubleview
  • Postcode is 6018
  • Local Council is City of Stirling
  • Investors Are Buying Established, Subdividing
Doubleview is a largely residential community located close to the shore. This suburban neighborhood is an ideal home for starting families, settling couples, peace-loving retirees, and generally anyone who loves both city and sea. Much of the developments are centered along Scarborough Beach Road, but construction on other boundaries is continuous. Most of the homes are one-storey dwellings standing on medium-sized lots.
Doubleview is a low-lying area bordered by the Scarborough Beach Road, Innaloo, and the shore. Aptly named, the suburb lets you enjoy views of Darling Range and the Indian Ocean. It’s just 18 km from the Perth International Airport. Residents are located 10 km north-west of Perth’s CBD.
Families can settle with plenty of schools as options. It is home to the Yuluma, Newborough, and Doubleview Primary Schools. On its southern edge you’ll find the Woodlands and Wembley Downs Primary Schools. Doubleview’s high school students attend Carine and Churchlands Senior High Schools in the western suburbs.
The suburb offers plenty of indoor and outdoor sports to choose from. Younger generations congregate at the Citizen’s Youth Club, which doubles as a disco and indoor sports venue. You can have your daily jog around Gwelup Lake or enjoy the activities that make Lake Karrinyup, Bold Park, and Reabold Hill exciting for Doubleview’s residents. You can schedule picnics at Bennet Park or drive to nearby Herdsman Lake. Residents can drive along the West Coast Highway and enjoy lots of beachside fun.
Doubleview shares the City of Stirling’s public transportation options. Stirling Station is just 2.5km from the suburb. Access to Perth’s CBD is via road travel and an efficient bus service.
