Aubin Grove is fairly new as a suburb, approved only in 2003; however, it was already inhabited even in the late 1800s. Part of the area where the suburb is now located was once used as an agricultural land and developed by Henry John Aubin who had leased the property. Formerly, the suburb belongs to the rural locality of Banjup but was later moved to the City of Cockburn. The area is favored by families but also sees a high number of singles and young adults living independently. Most of the property are detached homes but there are also a number of studio units in the area.
Set in Perth, Aubin Grove is located just a short drive from the beaches along the west coast. Residents and visitors can also reach Perth CBD within minutes. Most of its borders are shared with the suburb Banjup. Other suburbs also bordering Aubin Grove are Wattleup, Hammond Park, Atwell, and Success.
Mostly because it is fairly a young suburb, Aubin Grove may not be able to offer a lot of amenities to its residents and visitors but improvements are currently under way.
